Hackaton – citizens in science

Our Group’s members took part in an interdisciplinary action: Hakaton – citizens in science, organized by the Copernicus Science Centre and the Medical University of Warsaw. The aim of the meeting was development of an innovative and non-invasive solution to support doctors in the fight against children’s diaphragmatic hernia. We are pleased to announce that among the two winning projects one was a concept developed by members of our group: Bartłomiej Wysocki, Marcin Heljak, Adrian Chlanda and student Karol Czechowicz. We also want to acknowledge a valuable consultations given by doctors: Karolina Chełchowska, Agnieszka Ruta and Bartosz Godek. Soon we plan to proceed with laboratory work aimed at producing prototype and implementation of our solutions to everyday medical practice.
