7th TERMIS WORLD CONGRESS 2024 – SEATTLE, WASHINGTON

Our #BioGroupWUT representatives, Prof. Wojciech Swieszkowski and PhD Candidate Marina Volpi, had the great chance to participate to TERMIS World Congress in Seattle, USA from 25th to 28th June 2024.

Our squad was thrilled to participate in #TERMIS2024 and cutting-edge topics, connecting with all the brilliant minds in Seattle.

Let’s kick off #TERMIS2024 day 1 with Prof Lorenzo Moroni, outstanding keynote speaker of the “#biofabrication strategies for advanced 3D in vitro models” panel. Prof Wojciech Święszkowski was chairing such an amazing panel with great co-chairs. Great time and presenters ahead!

In the same day, Marina Volpi discussed her microfluidic-assisted 3D bioprinting breakthroughs, exchanged ideas, and connected with colleagues. The research is part of an international project in cooperation with the University of Zurich. Great job together with Dr Ewa Walejewska, Alicja Olszewska, Dr Mehdi Khanmohammadi and the supervision of Prof Święszkowski.

On Thursday, our Marina delivered a fantastic oral presentation about her latest research on the biofabrication of engineered myotendinous junction.

Looking forward to meeting the TERM Community next year in Freiburg, Germany for the European TERMIS Chapter.
